The Avon Turnstile Systems come in various options as detailed and are manufactured from zinc sprayed and powder coated steel sections with stainless steel rotor arms as an option. The central rotor is supported by the lower self-centering bearing and located by the head unit complete with indexing head, cams and damper which returns the rotor to its datum point after operation and provides an anti pass back feature .

The manual base unit provides a single direction rotation for entry/exit.

The controlled access units have head mounted solenoids for allowing rotation in both/either directions from the receipt of an external signal (Access control).
