The Avon Turnstile Systems come in
various options as detailed and are manufactured from zinc sprayed and
powder coated steel sections with stainless steel rotor arms as an
option. The central rotor is supported by the lower self-centering bearing
and located by the head unit complete with indexing head, cams and damper
which returns the rotor to its datum point after operation and provides an
anti pass back feature .
The manual base unit provides a single
direction rotation for entry/exit.
The controlled access units have head
mounted solenoids for allowing rotation in both/either directions from the
receipt of an external signal (Access control).
