Arm up to 7 metres A counterweighted rising arm barrier to control vehicle access. Strong double legged pedestal of all steel construction, coated white, with boom carrier designed to take aluminium arm of rectangular cross section 3 x 1.5 Each barrier supplied is complete with handle, appropriate counterweights, boom and padlock. Barriers can be secured at the pedestal in both the raised and the lowered position. Dual barriers with central locking mechanisms can be provided to control wider roadways. N.B. for boom lengths in excess of 5 metres an end-steady is required.
Arm up to 7 metres This unit is intended to restrict the height of vehicles allowed into specific areas, such as car parks. It consists of all steel construction coated white with white powder coated aluminium arm and knocking arm for driver warning. A triangular steel arm carrier is mounted on the hinges of the main support post which in turn supports the arm. The knocking arm is suspended by adjustable links in order to adjust the height on site. The other end of the support arm is secured in a catcher post, which is height adjustable to take into account variations in the road camber. The arm is locked into the catcher post through a padlockable elongated bar which allows control from normal pedestrian height. A second catcher post can be provided to lock the arm in the opened position. Dual barriers with central locking mechanisms can be provided to control wider roadways. A triangular steel arm carrier is mounted on the hinges of the main support post which in turn supports the arm. The other end of the gate arm is secured in a catcher post, whose height is adjustable to take into account variations in the road camber. A second post or wall mounted catcher can be provided to secure the gate in the open position. Dual barriers with central locking mechanisms can be provided to control wider roadways.
