The Avon Gate Systems come in
various options as detailed and are manufactured from RHS sections of
sufficient strength to suit operating requirements which are dependant
upon opening width, height, type of infill (windloading/weight) and the
level of security required.
The hinged gates are hung from RHS posts
via adjustable hinges with grease points to ease operation. They have a
gate mounted drive arm or alternatively a sub-surface drive unit, should
the environment require an aesthetically acceptable option.
The sliding gates are available in both
ground track and cantilever form, the lower rail of the gate is a channel
section of structural quality which supports the gate via industrial grade
wheels with roller races.
The ground track version gate leaf is held
in the vertical plane by a set of guide posts with adjustable guide
rollers, whereas the cantilever gate has 2 nos sets of guide posts with
tension wheels to hold the leaf in the horizontal position.
The gate is driven by a rack and
pinion/gall chain system available in 230v single phase or 230v/400v 3
phase form depending upon weight of gate.
All drive units mechanically lock the
leafs in position with the option for a positive locking mechanism.
