The Avon EB950 Triumph Barrier stands 1160mm above foundation level with the boom 960mm above foundation level. The arm is constructed from circular section re-enforced and resin bonded fibres (82mm diameter), supplied white with red bands.

The high duty cycling 24V DC 400W linear actuator connects to the drive shaft via a torsion arm providing an operating speed of approximately 10 seconds. An industrial grade nitrogen gas strut is used to provide additional counterbalancing and dampening, thus giving a smooth operation.

The barrier has an integrally mounted 'control panel', containing power supply isolator (230V, IPH, 50Hz-3A) thermal overload cut-out (TOC), control fuse (24V), auxiliary equipment fuse (230V) and a toggle switch for local Raise/Lower operation.

The cam barrel lockable hinged front door provides access to the control panel, linear actuator for manual winding facility and the limit switches. The all steel constructed cabinet and cover are shot blasted to give a clean, grease free surface providing maximum keying effect for the two pack high zinc primer, 40 microns, followed by a yellow (RAL 1007) textured polyester powder coated top coat, 40 microns approx, weight from 190kg.

All barriers with booms in excess of 5m or where collapsible skirts are fitted require end supports to aid boom rigidity.

It is recommended that the barrier is secured to the foundation using 6 nos. M16x190mm chemical anchors. The installation of ducts for cabling is dependent upon the control criteria.
