Avon RS420 Fixed Charge Machine for Car Park Revenue
1 Avon RS420 Fixed Charge Machine for Car Park Revenue

The Avon RS420 Fixed Charge Machine provides a cost effective method of generating car park revenue collection without the expense of on-going attendants' costs.

The Avon RS420 Fixed Charge Machine stands 1270mm high, 460mm wide and 405mm deep with a fee insertion point at 1075mm from its base and is fitted with an enclosed fluorescent down light for night use. Fixed Charge and Variable Charge Parking Machines

The parking payment machines' main cabinet and upper door are constructed from 2.5mm steel with the high security safe door fabrication from 6mm steel plate reinforced with 12x12mm steel stiffeners. The unit is finished in a high quality two pack high zinc primer, 40 microns, followed by a yellow (RAL 1007) textured polyester powder top coat, 40 microns - approx weight 80kg. Both the upper and high security safe doors are secured using 7 lever locks requiring different keys for added protection.

Once the safe door has been removed, the self-sealing 7½ litre coin box can be unlocked from its frame and withdrawn from the unit. During its removal the coin box automatically seals itself and only a third key will permit access. This final key can be held in a remote location such as a cashier's office. Fixed Charge Payment Machines

The coin validator can recognise 6 different coins including tokens. It conducts 4 separate validation checks on each coin inserted, holding them in escrow until the fee is accepted and the coins are released into the safe.

The note reader version of the machine will accept 4 different notes and has self teaching abilities enabling newly issued bank notes to be added/changed in situ. Once accepted the note is stored in a locked stacking channel which will hold up to 400 notes.

An LED display shows the fee required which decrements automatically as coins or notes are accepted and once the fee is paid the machine provides a relay output to open the barrier.

The fixed charge payment machine is designed to accept overpayment although a reject button is provided on coin units allowing the user to abort the transaction prior to full acceptance of the fee.

The Avon Fixed Charge Machine complements the Avon range of car park and security barriers and road blockers
